Sharpening dental hygiene instruments has always been an unpredictable, unsatisfying chore. However, now Dianne is introducing a new way to sharpen that is (1) fast, (2) easy, (3) cheap, and (4) effective. By focusing on removing only the dull portion of the blade, instrument life is increased and instruments remain sharp for longer periods of time.
The technique involves using a high speed handpiece and a tiny friction grip stone. Included with the video are two sharpening stones.
